So I took my son to Trunk or Treat at church tonight and he is sitting on my bed eating candy after candy-I don't even care; I think he will get overloaded with the sugar and at a point it won't enter his bloodstream anymore.

If all else fails we do get an extra hour tonight, so he can have that hour to calm down. He's being pretty mellow. He's washing his hands from the sticky candy now.

He went to bed pretty good. I got lucky!

I usually put it up and allow them a little at a time. The candy usually lasts until close to Christmas, when they get a ton more from those partys. This also keeps me from hardly ever buying candy.

well, I still have to go trick or treating like two more times with him! I don't want the candy to last forever.

I don't know about not entering his bloodstream but it may not effect him anymore. We too put the candy up and only give in moderation. It is used as a special treat for eating all his dinner or picking up his toys without being asked too. Ours may not last until Christmas because he didnt get all that much and because I eat it too, but it will last a little while!

I wouldn't dare let my son eat too much. He gets way too hyper with just a couple of pieces. We have a Halloween party this afternoon at our local church, so it should be pretty interesting. School party, trick or treating, and another Halloween party all on Tuesday. He is going as a medieval woman this year!
