Now I keep hearing about making money -ideas on how to save $?

I keep on hearing about ways to make money online and offline. You can do thus and so and there are many ideas and many ways. Now I know those who are making money are also saving money as well. How do you save money? Do you invest? What do you invest in? What kind of frugal tips do you have for us? Where do you shop the most? What kind of stuff do you buy the most? I see that helping people by giving them ideas on how to make money is great. But I also see a great opportunity to help people save money so that they can use that money to buy more stuff. For example I like to go shop at Costco because I can buy things bulk and save money that way. I also like to go dollar store shopping for things like bounty towel papers and such. I even go there to get my stationary supplies. I use boric acid in my washing cycle so that I can use less detergent to get the same job done. I use newspaper to clean my windows and instead of windex I use vinegar. It gets the job done and it does it well. Do you have any tips you want to share with us fellow mylotters?
