How do you decide who to send Christmas cards to? Do you feel guilty if you get a card from someone but you haven't sent one to them? Do you keep a list of who sent you a card this year so you can be sure to send one next year? Do you send a newsletter telling people about what happened in the last year? Have you ever gotten a card from someone that was a total shock? How about someone you are not sure you even remember? I'm interested in hearing people's experiences with cards.

Christmas cards. hhhhmmm, our family has never been big on that side of things. Now I have a family of my own, I don't send them either, unless they are ecards! lol. I get sick of buying packets of cards and ending up with hundreds of them trying to take over the house.

Yep, I have the same issue. That's why I won't buy wrapping paper and things like that on clearance, even though I know I could save a LOT of money that way! I just don't have enough room to store things.

Oh, no. That would be too funny. Oh well, it's the thought that counts, right?!

This is so funny because I am doing my cards now. I am kicking myself because every year I tell myself to make a list. I always end up forgetting. This year the same thing. Now I have the computer, so I am going to put the list together from this years cards. Each year I will update, delete, and make any changes for next years list.

As long as you actually keep the list up you will be in good shape! My problem is that I would forget about the list half way through next year.

For the most part I send cards to my immediate family, since we live across the country from one another. But, I also keep extra cards on hand, so if I receive a card unexpectedly, I can send one in return. I usually enclose a letter with the cards to my family, even though we talk on the phone frequently. I've never received a card from someone I don't remember so that has never been an issue.

That is a really neat idea! I, too, wish I was on your Christmas card list. It sounds like your hand made cards are beautiful. That is really neat that you are thinking about Christmas cards in the spring when you are collecting the flowers.
