What is it with youth these days. In the 70's people would gather and have peaceful protests and sit ins. Today they are lobbing petrol bombs and stones at police officers. Looting people's stores and torching their cars. Why do people act so stupidly and how are the police supposed to control a crowd so obviously out of control. This riot apparently started over an accident between a police car and a motorcycle that killed two youths. What is this world coming to? How do we, the human race, move forward when people are acting so backwards?

There's an old saying "Violence never solves anything" I think that applies here. Ppl have come to believe that the only way to get their point of view across is to become violent...it often has just the opposite effect. MERRY CHRISTMAS!! **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

It is a wise old saying too. I find it hard to have sympathy for the cause when they destroy common people's things that they have worked a lifetime for. It just annoys me.
