They pass right by my house every day. Early in the morning they pass and Im not just talking one or two. Then then go by around 2:30 to pick the kids up and return this way with the kids on the bus yelling and screaming! Not really I just added that to it!So what Im trying to say is I cant stand school buses! Do you have them going by your house everyday? I love the weekends I dont have to hear them.

We have one that goes by our place. I hardley notice it unless I happen to be llooking out the window at the time. There use to be lots of kids on our road but I think we're down to just one house that has school kids now.

There you go fabricating this discussion. Isn't that against the guidelines here? HAHAHAHA! Just joking. I have one bus each day as there aren't a lot of kids on my street. 9:30 then at 4:30. But 2 blocks away when I walk Buster at the right time I have seen maybe 4 different busses. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

A lot of school buses pass by my house everyday, including my son’s. I don’t find them irritating rather I find the cute children and their liveliness very invigorating. They are just like a bunch of parrots, chirping away all the time and certainly better than the adults who zoom pass in their cars throughout the day and create a lot more noise.

We get around 2 buses in the morning around 6:54-7:00 and 7:54-8:00 in the morning. Then again in the afternoon around 3, I honestly don't know about the other bus. I think the middle school and high school kids rides the same bus that rides. I'm one of those parents that sits outside waiting for the bus to pick up and drop off. I won't let my kids stay outside by themselves after a girl was aducted by her home while waiting for the school bus. I hate being behind a bus while driving. The constant stops is nerve wrecking, especially when I need to get somewhere. Got to love weekends, when no buses are on the road and I get to sleep in.

Ugh I don't care about School Buses going by my house. I Loathe being stuck behind them on the road! I can't stand that you have to stop when they're on the other side of the street either. and I can't stand the parents who stand outside and wait for their kids or the kids who stand outside and wait for the bus. In other words I deal with this every day going to and from work. I get stuck behind a bus every morning going to work. It turns into the high school I pass. Then it's all good for a while until I sometimes get stuck waiting for a bus picking up kids on the other side of the street. One morning the mother decided to have a 10 minute conversation with the bus driver. I kid you not, it was the longest conversation EVER and we couldn't go till the bus went! Then I pass these kids waiting for a bus who like to dance in the street and get mad at me when I have to drive by, because they have to get out of the street. THEN on my way home I get stuck behind a bus dropping off elementary school kids. One day the bus went and this car was just sitting there. no flashers on and it's not a parking spot and I was angry. So I went around it. A kid was running across the street and I saw him so I knew he'd cross before i even passed the car... and I was going like 2 miles an hour anyhow... but some mom started yelling at me and I thought that was funny, but i can't stand dealing with that stuff. So yeah, Buses driving past your house is nothing compared to being on the roads with them.

Hi TerryZ! Yeah, we live near a school and the school busus and private cars bring and fetching students to and from school really made our used to be so quiet neighborhood a very busy one. The school is a private school catering to kindergarten to high school students and you can just imagine the traffic it causes every 7-8 in the morning when students go to their class, then at 11am-12:30 noon for those who have classes over and those having classes in the afternoon and the last rush hour is 3:30-4:30pm. Like you, I just love the weekends and school holidays. hehe.. Take care and have a nice day. :)

Fortunately I don't have school buses going past my house. We live about 1/4 mile from the elementary school, so we have them on the main road through the neighborhood, but not on my street. I can see how that would get annoying. The only complaint I have about the buses in our neighborhood is that they all appear to be speeding much of the time. I think they should be setting a good example for the drivers around them.

I see two buses in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. I don't get stuck behind them because they go the opposite direction so I can't complain.

I've got one that comes by... at 630 in the morning. School doesn't start until 830, but we are so rural, the bus has to get here early and then double back to pick up the other kids. My neighbor has 2 kids that ride the bus. Nice kids, but lucky for me when the bus comes by they are one of 5 kids on it at any given time. Not much noise. Plus it's way too early to be loud...at least for me anyway. I don't fully wake up until about noon. =)
