I picked up a bag of chocolate that had a mixture of different kinds of candies....like some were krispie some were filled with peanut butter and some just plain chocolate. They are not the best I have ever eaten. Have you ever had any bad chocolate?

lilaclady, well yes there is bad chocolate and it is bought very cheap and made with lots of fillers and least amounts of milk cocoa and high amounts of triglycerides that harm you . . . Your better bet for that yummy craving is dark chocolate, more expensive but guaranteed to include real cocoa and not some polysorbate lecithin junk people refer to as choco late ! sharing the light, Miss Erica Hidvegi, the Enlightenment Advisor, B.A. Psych/M.A. Transpersonal Studies- Cnslng/Author, Artist, Photographer, Entrepreneur & Freelance extraordinaire

If I find a chocolate factory I'll see if they have an opening! I did visit one in Las Vegas one time and it was very interesting to see how they do make candy!

Do you mean chocolate that has gone bad? I haven't heard of an expiration date for chocolate.

Yes, I know that. I saw that in many supermarket. But sometimes they are out of stocks. Maybe that kinds of candies are in demand in the market. And many people love to eat chocolate too in many varieties.

I bought some chocolate from Gatwick Airport, once, when I was going on a long-haul flight, and when I got on the plane, it was practically completely white - the problem was, the label said they were dark chocolate, and when I wiped them, with my finger, a thin white layer was left on my hand, revealing the real chocolate underneath. I didn't eat them, obviously, but I think that's the worst experience I've had with buying chocolate, lolz.

Sometimes when you freeze it it gets white on it, but it is okay, it will still melt. The worst chocolate is melted candy bars, but they are still delicious, some times the mess is a good thing.

I know there is such a thing as old chocolate. Sometimes dollar stores will carry really old candy and chocolates and a person can tell when they bite into them that something isn't quite right. Other than the chocolate being made in a very ethnic country, I don't know why it would taste weird.

It wasn't very chocolatey....kinda weak in that department. It's some Dora stuff I bought for the grandkids...I suppose they wouldn't really know the difference as long as it's sweet.

Not really... It all depends on the taste. I may like some kind of chocolate but my friends maybe don't like it. I honestly like both milk and chocolate with nuts... mmm. I don't like marzipan chocolate because by my opinion it has really bad taste.

A lot of chocolate is bad chocolate to me. Namely Bakers Chocolate is bad to everyone! I don't like chocolate though, I know you're looking with your eyes all wide and shocked! But I don't. I loathe dark chocolate (except andes mints) and I don't like white chocolate (except kit kats and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies).. and I don't like chocolate flavored anything or chocolate ice cream, mousse... anything like that (pudding is good though). And I only eat chocolate on things. I like butterfingers and snickers, stuff like that. but I don't like a plain hershey chocolate bar.

Yeah you can't buy your chocolate anywhere. I bought a candy bar from a convenience store once and the chocolate was grey. I didn't eat any and I'm glad I didn't. It looked horrible and probably tasted worse.
