I live in a gated community and in the pool area there is a pay phone, but someone still manages to come knock on my door. No, he didn't ring my door bell just knocked on it like crazy. I being a female home with just my kids, I simply said I am currently detailed right now and I can not come over to the door. If you go to the pool area there is a pay phone there. If it was you would you let him in to use your phone? Gosh, this day in age I would assume he had a cell phone. Oh well.

I would never let a stranger in my house to use the phone! I'm not uncaring or anything like that, it's because there are so many people out there who want to hurt others, you just don't know who will strike next and where.

Yup, and he being a man. I am sure he can walk a few step or so to find a pay phone. Man where is his cell though. Right when he said to use the phone I was like dude shouldn't you have a cell phone. Thanks for the comment.

I didn't think about that too maybe he was scouting my place out. Scary world we live in these days and especially the time too. It's getting so close to Christmas. Thanks for the comment.

Good for you! No, I would no allow anyone like that into my home. There are still pay phones, cell phones, and public places they could go if they needed to make a phone call. And living in a gated community, I would have reported this to the office, and let them know someone was going around trying to gain entry by requesting to use your phone. I'm sure your's is not the only door he knocked on.

I didn't think about that at the time. You are right I should have given those HOA people a call, I mean gosh we pay them enough to do nothing as it is already. Thanks for the advice. Good point made.
