Would you put your parents in a retirement home?

You know as we age so does our parents. When we are old we don't have the strength to help out our much older parents. When it comes to the point where the old folks are getting hurt by themselves and you can't be there 24/7 , what is the best thing to do for them? I would say put them in a nice retirement home. But even if you do that you should make it there at least once a week to see and visit your folks and to take them out ever so often. I believe in what goes around comes around. So if we treat our parents right hopefully our children will treat us right too.

for me i will take good care of my parent till im still strong & good health. i think when parent will put in retirement house is not good, except if nobody aready in thier family.

Yes I agree. If no one else is left capable of taking care of them we have to do what is best for them and find someone and somewhere safe for them. Thanks for your comment.

Yup same here. I would love to be able to have an inlaw for them to live in with me. Therefore I can keep a close eye on them and do their cleaning and cooking but they can still have their freedom and I can have mine. Thanks for your comment.
