I found this software called Easy DVD-Video copy Pro. It's supposed to let you make copies of your dvd movies so you have a back up copy, just in case anything happens to the original. I was wondering if anyone else had heard of or used this software before. They don't have a free trial of this version, and I'd like to know if it works before I pay $40 for it. Thanks.

Something called Muvee Auto Producer came installed on my pc (and I didn't even know it!). It copies dvd's. My son found it when he was on it one day. He tried it and it worked great. I don't know where you can or even if you can purchase it somewhere but I do know it works. I don't think I would buy something that didn't have at least a free trial so I could make sure it works for me.

Thanks for the info. I found a trial version of it but I couldn't get it to work. It kept freezing up and then shuting down on me. I'll probably try to run some scans on my computer to make sure it's not a problem on my end and then try it again. Thanks for the help. :)

when it comes to the movie DVDs trying very particular about the handling of those. They are my favourite collections and I take good care of them so something happening to those is not very easy. What I can do is and download DVD prints from the Internet and I make a deputy copy of that and deleted from my hard disk if I find after some time that the DVD is having too many scratches and make another copy and I just dispose of the original copy. In this way I maintain many witty collection and so I am not very much bothered about the back to. And also if you can always playing your DVDs in VCD player on a DVD player then you have very less chances of getting scratches on your DVDs. It is the computer romps which gives a lot of scratches on your disks.
