Where can youe purchase the new kind of light bulbs that save you energy? Does ComEd give them away for free? If so, where should I go the get them. How many can you receive at a time?

I pick mine up at Home Depot, or Walmart. I am slowing replacing mine as the ols style wears out. At least I am trying to. My hubby doesn't care for them as much.

Pretty much any place that sells regular light bulbs now also sells compact fluorscent bulbs as well. I know that Home Depot, Walmart, Target, and Lowes all sell them. They are more expensive than regular bulbs, but the energy savings over the life of the bulb more than makes up for the difference. I usually look for them to go on sale at Target and stockpile them to use as my old bulbs burn out.

I think you can get them at places like HomeDepot and maybe even Walmart. I don't know nothing about ComEd, so I can't help you there.
