The following was written on the back of a tablet of paper and is dated 2-24-2004. I can imagine what must have been going on that day.

I've come to the conclusion
that men do with age
become grumpy and grouchy
and it's not just a "stage".
They often complain
and can't conceal their rage
when while they are cooking
they just can't find the sage.
I could give more examples
but I am afraid
to do so would simply
fill up this page.

Well happily my man has mellowed some and doesn't seem to be as grumpy and grouchy these days. He likes to make stuffed mushrooms, I'll bet that was what was happening when I wrote this. I must have been fed up with him in the kitchen that day. LOL

You've got a pretty good sense of humor. That was an amusing poem...if you have stuff like that lying around, you might as well get critiqued for it, maybe you'd even want to join contests? There's a wonderful writing community site I know. I could refer you to it if you're interested, just let me know.

It's a wonderful site for sharing your poems, shhort stories and other genre. The site is just a little bit over a year old and is oconstantly getting improved. What I like most about it is the warm atmosphere from the community. I was able to join contests, forums and classes and continue to learna lot from the site.
