Wow, a ring of wealth really does work!

I'd been hunting black dragons for an hour getting little more than their hides , bones , fire runes & a few coins. Then I remembered I didn't have my ring of wealth on. I banked real quick , put it on & the next drop was a level 3 clue. I stayed to finish filling my pack & the good drops kept coming. I'll have to remember not to forget it next time.

That's pretty cool. I've gotten a level 3 clue once but from killing blue dragons. I didn't have a ring of wealth on either. What did you get in the clue scroll? Good luck in the future.

I've had several since I first posted this. I think on that one I got full rune. On some of the others I've gotten a rune H1 helm( I need to trade it for a h4 or h5 ) , guthix plate & several pages.

ok does the ring of wealth really work i have a lvl 63 on runescape and some ppl say that it does some dont so wat do u guys say.......???

i read somewher that the ring of wealth increases the chance of a better rare drop and that a chiken could drop a dragon med helm (i dont belive) if u guys have had a rare drop like dragon please reply to olsonknight

Yeah I did that in TzHaar lol i kept getting charms, then put the ring on... 2 obby capes, obby maul, sword, and loads of throwing rings :) i won't forget it again! :P

Now I try not to take it off unless I have to be wearing something specific like a Ring of forging. I'd rather not forget it again.

Its that sometimers setting in. Sometimes I remember to grab my gear, Sometimes I forget & get eaten. Can't forget that dragonfire sheild when facing a dragon or they'll cook you.

That's why it's called a ring of wealth. If you go on the Runescape Fan Sites then you could look at each item and see the description of what that item does. And it's kind of a hint ring of wealth it says it right there. I guess I just expect people to know these things because I have been around Runescape way to long. It's kinda like my friend talking to me about World of Warcraft. I have no clue what is happening in that game. Well if you have any more questions please feel free to message me!

Actually it was just a matter of how much of a difference that was impressive. There's been some debate as to wether or not the ring is really worth it. I definently have to say yes.

What game are you talking about? There's girdle of greed in ADOM where allows the player to carry more if there's money inside the pack. What's the function of a ring of wealth?

The discussion is under the topic RUNESCAPE. The ring of wealth increases your chances of a rare drop & the value of the items droped by the monsters you kill. Never go into battle without one.
