How can I remove stale odors from the refrigerator if I do not immediately have the time to clean it?

hello ronimas, well i haven't faced such a situation because i always keep my refrigerator clean and i don't keep foods for long in it.and besides i always have lemons cut into pieces in my refrigerator.as we all can't eat a full lemon,so the other half is kept like that there and somehow it helps my refrigerator smell good.i think it helps to counteract the repulsive smell in it.another way is to keep baking soda, though i have never tried it.you can give it a try.and never forget to clean it properly once a week.

An open box of baking soda will do the trick but it'll take a day or two to have any effect. It will work a little faster if it's emptied into a bowl only you'll have to be careful in that instance unless you want a big mess you can't avoid cleaning up.

Keep an open container of baking soda in there. It helps eliminate odors.
