I want to get ideas from others, where they put or store their database or files. Is safe to store it to the external hard disk drive or to the cd. What is your suggestion? I just want to secure the best storage for my data.

Generally i store them online in my emails. I also take the back up of the most important files on to cd and also have the copies in multiple emails and yahoo breifcase. The increased storage capacity have allowed me tod o this. Otherwise there would have been problem with disks failing at crucila times. I think everybody already bayed god bye to floppys.

I back up my files on an external harddrive. If anything ever happened to my computer all my important information is on that and I could use it for any computer. External hard drives aren't that expensive and save space on a computer as well. You could put all your music or pics on it while saving hard drive space on your own computer.

Hi! I do not store my files or database in the cd or any such devices. i just attach them to my email. I made sure that I have a plenty copy of the file in my email so if there is an error on the file that I sent, then there are still other copies on my email. For me, it is better that way than to buy cd and such. It will be just a hassle for me.
