Hi. We did a paint job for someone who had just purchased a miniature husky/poodle mix puppy and he was soooo cute!!! I want to know if anyone else out there has one and how they are. I have 3 smaller children and I want to know if this is a puppy/dog that I want to have in my home before getting one. So, anything you can let me know about them is GREAT!! THANKS

I don't have any pets, I use to have cat, dogs are easy to train, if you have had dogs before as pets, I am sure it will come automatic to you and your pet how to train them.

Yeah, I have a lot of pets - 2 dogs 1 cat a snake a rabbit and at times a bunch of mice. I am just wondering about this kind of dog because I have seen them before and they are really cute.

Mini husky/poodle?? Sigh.. more backyard bred puppies :( If you want a mix, then go to the shelter or rescue and pick one out. If you want a purebred, shelters and rescues often have a lot of purebreds as well. If you are looking at buying from a breeder, then there are two types of breeders that you never want to buy from. First type is backyard breeders (those who got a couple of dogs and breed to make some money, just for the fun of it, to let their children 'experience the miracle of birth', etc). Second is puppy farms. Places that have lots of dogs kept up in small kennels for the rest of their lives, breeding on every heat to get the most money out of the dogs as possible. These two also breeds mixes. A good breeder will never breed a mix on purpose. A good breeder only breeds to better the breed. Anybody saying anything different is not someone you want to buy from. A puppy from a good breeder might seem more costly than a poorly bred pup from a puppy farm, pet store or a BYB, but it's well worth the price to get a dog from health-tested and titled parents. People who have bought puppymill/BYB puppies often end up paying several times the initial cost of the puppy as vet costs instead.

I can't believe the mixes they are coming up with poodles. It's nuts. They came up with a new name for them though - I forget what it was, because they can't call them purebreds. I know that the parents are purebred mini husky and then purebred poodle. They have been selling them for quite some while I guess. The couple I know who bought the puppy havent had any problems with it yet. The puppy is like 6 months old now. The breeders also always sell all of the puppies so you have to keep in contact with them if you want to buy one and get one right away. As far as I know, there hasn't been any issues with them.
