Just write here a book that would make for a killer transposition..its preferrable that a movie has not already been made from the book you suggest..

i think that the perks of being a wallflower would make an awesome movie. while reading it i could see certain actors acting out certain parts and all. it's my favorite book - and i know a lot of other people's too - but i'm sure that if it was made into a movie .. well, if it was correctly made into a movie..meaning not changing everything around .. that it would probably become one of my favorite movies as well.

Thanks for the tip, i'll check it out if i can. Not that i'm a movie producer or anithing like that.. Is this book a character driven story? Do you think it would require a big budget to make its way to moving images?

yeah, it's pretty character driven. and i think it would be a nice indie movie - it wouldn't have to be big budget at all.

i'm not sure. i actually believe when most books are made into movies or t.v shows or such they really fail to meet my expectations. the characters change, the setting changes, much of what was mentioned in the book doens'nt even stay the way it was in the book and this is highly unfortunate

Yeah i really agree with you. Most times movie producers just get in the way and pretend to change everything in order to better target the movie to a specific audience. What they dont understand (i think) is that good stories must be preserved to do good movies. If they alter to much it ends up getting both fans of the original books and the public pretty mad..
