Talking on the phone or in person?

Would you rather talk to a bunch of people on the phone all day or spend time with one friend face to face? I absolutely loathe talking on the phone, even though I'm a teenager. I would much rather talk to some one in person.

I am someone who loves talking. LOL I enjoy talking to people on the phone and also face to face. If you ask me about my preference, I would say face to face. When you talk to someone face to face, you get to see their facial expression and hand gestures, this makes the conversation more interesting. =D

I would rather to talk to someone in person. I mean, I find it more comfortable talking to someone in person, it feels more human. On the phone, I can also tolerate to talk to but I find this quite waste of time, but if there is no way aside from communicating over the phone, then I would speak to friends on phone. :P

i can not stand the telephone. period. i hate the fact that it always rings when i dont want it to and it never rings when im hoping for it to. that people call at all hours of the early morning or late evening. or if your home and ignore it then someone will be upset with you etc etc.. its just and incoivience there are times where you are doing something and the pone rings andt hen you lose train of thought or motivations to do what ever it iwas that oyu were doing... etc etc... there are good parts to having a phone to im sure.. lol... i am a talker and i would much rather sit face to face with sometone and talk takl talk .. i love talking, just not on the phone

I also perfer face-to-face conversations and always have. I'm fine for the first 15 -20 monutes of a phone conversation, but then my attention starts to wander, no matter how interesting the person or conversation is. I just can't help it. I prefer to have the person in front of me so I can see the reactions in their face and body language (so I know that I'm not boring them!).

Hello and Hi megumiart. I prefer do talking in person. Talking by look at the person more comfortable than talk to the phone. This is because we can realize somebody when they are talking lie or not. Besides, the person would understand better what we are talking about. Talking in the phone might make the person bored to talk and not too really pay attention to us. We also need to pay for the bill that we use to talk and its not a good idea. HAPPY LUCKY. **prettyhanan**

I would rather be face to face, but most people I know live too far to do that more then once or twice a year. So I'm on the phone alot.

Stereotypes don't fit everyone. When I was a kid I was on the phone all the time until I got to my mid teens. Then I rarely ever used the phone. I actually think less teenagers use the phone these days because of the internet and text messaging. My ex and I rarely talked on the phone. We'd text back and forth when we weren't together rather than calling each other up (and when we did it was always him that called which was weird)

I would rather talk to my friends in person than on the phone because that way we would really know what the other person is feeling and we can spend time with the person we want to spend time with. Rather than on the phone, you wouldn't really know what the other person is really feeling because you cannot see him/her and you cannot spend time with each other because you're both on the phone. And when you're on the phone, there is a limit in using it.
