Who gave better Christmas gifts to you when you were a child?

When I was a kid, my grandmother always gave me the nicest Christmas (and birthday) gifts. Once when I was just five years old, she gave me a small box of powder and powder puff with matching fragrance. I felt like such a grown up diva. And, later when I was about eight years old, she gave me a real live looking baby doll with all the extras like bottle clothes, etc. Going to her home for the holidays was such a treat, because she always made the best Christmas foods and gave the best gifts. And, she was so sweet. Who gave you wonderful gifts for Christmas when you were a kid?

I would have to say my mother usally got me the best gifts for Christmas. I remember when I was a kid going through the Jc Penny catalog and the Sears one and picking out what I liked. I didn't get everything I wanted but it was still fun to do. My mother usally picked out the presants better then anyone else.

My parents always gave me the best Christmas gifts when I was a child. They always did their very best, even when they didn't have much money. Somehow every Christmas was absolutely awesome. Even when there weren't many presents under the tree, the presents that were there were always something my sister and I loved.
