I need serious suggestions here. I have discussed in previous discussions that what has happened to me at workplace. Its regarding that i was supposed to travel to Denmark on 2nd December for project. we were 4 to travel. Last monday they cancelled the journey for me and another guy whereas for other 2, they are still travelling. It is repeated with me 3 times now. This time it is worse as ticket, Visa, forex all were ready. For last 2 days my manager is sending mail that we will sit together to discuss things. But he has not. I am devastated and feel cheated now.I wrote him a mail requesting him to give me release. Actually i was getting released in october when he requested me to stay back assuring onsite 2-3 times in this project. Today he has told me he wants to sit today to talk with me. I don't have any intention of continuing here. Please advise me what should I say them?

Hi Subha Well the situation u r stating is really not encouraging and sound de moralising. and when u r employee this is worst phase to go through its also noted that u were getting released in Oct 07 but it was extended due to this project where u r not going, so i think u should get released now as in future it will be difficult to work in this situation of uncertainity but i would suggest that no need to get emotional, think rationally and professionally, dont emotions over come u, Do sit with ur manager and listen what he has to say, analyse and decide it there is no need to be in haste. it would be what i would be doing in this situation So calm, relax, and stay kool headed c ya

hi subha! ^__^ this is late so i'm just gonna ask you how are things with you in your office? i hope you gave your manager the chance to talk with you because that could have been my advice if i were able to see this discussion of yours earlier. :p if your manager had a good point on canceling your trips and making you wait and wait, and if you think that his reason is sound and reasonable, then i think you should stay and give the company a chance. ^__^ i do hope everything went well with you in your work. if you decided to quit then i hope you can find a new job soon. ^__^

First look for a good position in another company where your skills are useful, may be higher salary. Then you give quit notice to this company and normally one month advance notice should be sufficient. It is difficult to work in a company where they insult you periodically. If it happens once, OK accidental mistake. If you compromise and continue, then the neglect will continue. Therefore look for a greener pasture.

Hi,subha.I really sympathize with you.But I want to say you must have a deep thinking. First, you must have a deep thinking,Leaveing or staying. If you choose to leave.you must think as this,do you have choices?I mean if you do not work in this company, what can you do to keep yourself and your family? If you have choice, leave it.If you choose to stay in the company, talk to the leader and tell him what you need.If your leader can agree your requiring, stay in the company. If not, leave it. Second, you must think about yourself.why did it happen to you? What is the basic reason?I think you have not do your best to finish the working. It does not mean you don't finish your work well.Just not the best. I met the situation a few months ago.But now I get the leader's belief.Do your best but not to blame and scold your leader. Third,I have to admit there are some leaders are badly. They require with a heavy hand. Have a deep thinking is very important to you now.Do your best to have a better choice. Good luck, my friend.

i will only leave after i get another offer. in my previous project, within the same account i got an award for extra ordinary performance and tremendous customer satisfaction. Now they also say that they don't have any doubt with my quality of work. But still they are doing this wrong doings with me.

I think the customer's satisfaction is not very important. Also the better quality control is not very important. Now,keep your shirts on,have a deep thinking.Good quality engineer needs do more thing. The most important is very lower quality cost, very high income. Also flattering leader is important too. Good luck,my dearest friend.

Hi,there! I do think you'd better calm down and not be angry at the moment. If you really think it's better to take another job and you're not willing to stay here any more, then just feel free to quit.If you've considered it very carefully, then you can talk very straightly but in a polite way with your manager.I think the post is that, you really enjoy working at the place and you like the job pretty much.If you don't feel happy here, then maybe it's better to change the environment:) Hopefully everything is going well with you! Have a nice day^_^

the best way is firing your boss. but I think so few people will do it in this situation. we must earn living. so you have to be patient, tolerant. and if you want to start a new life.maybe send in your papers is not a bad choice.

ALl companies are cutting their costs, many allow minimal travel at best and to expect 4 people on site sounds like a lot to me. Of course, I don't know what your job is, but now a days with telecommuting and the ease of communication, travel is often an unneccesary expense. Talk to your boss before you make a decision.

All are cutting cost. But the situation is such that without Onsite travel the knowledge transfer is not possible as this is first time we will take over from them. And until it is done, no billable work can be done.

Well, that is really bad being treated that way. But i think you should give your boss his final chance to explain things to you. And after that, you could decide whether you will stay or not. Let him know your side too. Make him understand what you are thinking and all your reasons. At least he will know it and understand all your actions.

I think you are right in your views. You just tell what is your current state of mind. Also explain them this has made you think otherwise.I think they will give you their views, but your views are something that they need to know.
