Hi, I own an Ibanez RG370 and since I replaced the strings a month ago I started to have a problem whenever I use my tremolo bar. The problem is that whenever I move the bar up or down the tuning messes up, and I had to remove the bar so I can play in tune. The pitch changes slightly(but enough) lower when I depress the bar, and slightly higher when I move the handle/bar upwards... I think the problem is in the springs but I am not sure, and right now I don't have anyone who can say what's wrong, so I would like you to help if you had siilar experiences. Thanx

Do you have a locking nut? Without one, it wouldn't stay in tune when you use the bar. Also, for a bit more you can get locking tuners. I have locking tuners on my guitar, and it holds tune great.

I have a locking nut, just bought a brand new one. I was thinking about locking tuners, but it's hard to find it in my city, I guess I will have to go search for it in Belgrade...Hopefully I will earn some money in a few weeks :)

Can I suggest you take the Ibanez in to an expert to have the set up checked out. It sounds to me like the springs, but it might need a check on the set up.

I better do that, even though I have no money to pay the repair, I will at least know what's up. Thanx
