Theirs no doubt that dsl is the best compare with dial-up. But for me I currently using dial-up, it is cheaper than dsl and sometimes dsl is also slow especially during peak hours that you don’t get what you’re paying for. For now, I’m ok with dial up but planning to have a dsl connection if I can find a descent provider.

Comparing DSL with dial up, is just like comparing a Bus with a Cart. Ofcourse, DSL is the best and that too with much higher speeds, it is THE best. May be you should get a DSL back very soon. :)

DSL hands down. You never have to miss any important phone calls. More people can be on the net at the same time in your own house depending on how many people live there. Dial-Up I can't use now especially with some work and trying to get some other stuff done. I agree it's difficult with dial-up.

Of course DSL. It is the best possible connection out there, though I won't mind getting a satellite download speed too. It is nice when you don't have to wait as long as you have to with dial up so I would definitelly chose to use DSL if I have to. At present I am using cable DSL, but I'm not very satisfied with the provider.

There's no question, DSL is the prefered one. You can even upgrade it to a faster sevices, unlike dial-ups, it has a limit on the maximum speed.

I had DSL before I moved, now I have satellite internet (it's faster that dial-up). I prefer DSL. It was a lot faster. With satellite internet, my speed isn't that fast and after 3 pm it really slows down. I would like to have DSL again but since I live in a rural area, it's not offered yet. I haven't had dial up in a long time and I'm not sure I could go back to it.

Of course, DSL is still way better than dial-up. Regardless of the packages, I would still for DSL than settling for a dial-up. Anyways, my DSL is way too slow too especially during peak hours, but I do get by with this. :P

DEFINITELY dsl. i had dial-up for the longest time and then i got cable. cable was great. so fast! pretty expensive though. now i live with my boyfriend though and we have dsl. it's definitely still much faster than dial-up. i'd go crazy if i had to go back down to dial-up.

I couldn't handle being on dial up. We have been on cable internet for a few years and there is no way on earth I could sit and wait for the dial up. As it is I sometimes have to sit and wait for our crappy computer.
