How do you think about your appearance?

if you are not satisfied with your own appearance,will you be unhappy sometimes?or have you been unhappy once?
and suppose that now your appearance become worse or better than before,what will you do or think?
at last,what would you think that your love's last boyfriend/girlfriend is more good-looking than you?and will you feel bad?
Please do share your ideas!

Hello dear friend. I have to admit that sometimes I am not satisfied with my personal appearance especially when I get up with wild hair and I would not get out if I do not take a shower to make my hair look good. A good appearance to me is very important because it offers me more self-confidence and I always have to face an audience of about forty every day. lol
But I think that it is more important to have a nice and kind heart for people, which is of great importance and more important than the appearance. So I chose my spouse on the basis of the inner beauty of her without paying much attention to the outside appearance. Thanks for your discussion, dear friend.

If anyone loves looking at looks he/she is the greatest fool (in most cases). To love and to be loved, what is required is good and kind heart, willingness to share, capacity to bear other's idiosyncracies along with one's own, perfect mutual understanding and greatest is mutual faith.
I am least bothered about my looks, please do not come to me for my looks but for my other inner qualities. May be you feel like complimenting a person who is exceptionally handsome or beautiful. That should cause any undue worries, comparing oneself with them.

Maybe i start this diescuss on a not good way as i have not expressed my meaning well.but factly what i wanna discuss more is what you will think or do when you find you are worse than other people in some fileds.apperance is only one of these fileds,which is just a typification.
What do you think or do if you find you are worse than other guys at some aspects ,things like your inner qualities or your capacity?

It is the responsibility of every human being to aim for better, aim for perfection and aim for quality work constantly. If I am not having certain qualities compared to others, I do not feel jealous of that person, rather I would constantly think (not worry) about acquiring that skill myself so that I can be equal to him if not overtake him.
In India, there was a great saint, pilosopher and a freedom fighter by nemae Sri Aurubindo. He had written a book YOGA. The real yoga is : everyone one does their work, you also work. It is you who have to work little more, little different and little better. That is yoga. I constantly aim at doing it.

I no longer worry about my appearance because I am not out to impress anyone. I don't want anyone and I am very happy single, so the only person I have to impress is myself. I am very happy the way I look, sometimes I go out looking scruffy, but hey I don't care, I'm not a guy who spends hours in front of the mirror making up his hair or face, I'm too lazy that way. I don't care about my looks either, I grow a beard and moustache because I like it no one else, if I want to shave it all off then I can, but no one tells me to or suggests to me I should. I am happy the way I am.

yes, i can feel what you are feeling and enjoying from the confortble pose in your picture and the words from some of your topics.
i rather apprieciate your thought and way for life.because factly i live the same way with you .for my part , i don't like to spend time on caring about my appearance or makeing up somewhat.
i also like single life, like freedom,like eating ,like going on my own way without caring about others' attitude to me ,but i don't like to pay attention to something cannot be eat or make me feel happy directly ,just like appearance,which is showed for others not myself. so ,i like your way for life.

The love for beauty is common to all men.And I thinks the appearance is important.But when people purchase the beauty don't forget improve the inner nature.It's more important.You can compare with others,not the appearance,is the ability.So we need to enrich ourselves continuously.

I am neutral with myself. I sometimes think I look nice other times I don't think I look as nice. If an ex was going out with someone else that is prettier or ugly it wouldn't bother me in the slightest either way.

Well its alright, but could be better. I have gotten some terrible looks (mainly from the opposite gender) even though I'm usually well dressed and doing nothing offensive to anyone. Its rather depressing. But, I'm going to press on anyways. People don't know what they are missing.

I always can't satisfied with my appearance.My major is boradcasting and hosting.You know,this major has higher request in appearance.My classmates were thought that appearance is an important part in our career.So I thought that we can't use one-sided view to comment on this discussion.

if you were a woman,the appearance is indeed important for your major.
but, you are a man ,as a man, i don't think your appearance can affect your career so much,because it's considered that what a male hosting more need is the inner charming and your excellent personal working style.
however, i appreciate that we cannot discuss something on a one-sided view.

Maybe I am not a confident girl,when someone says:"hey,look,this girl is a little
fat."I will be a little sad.Maybe it is true that I am not beautiful,and I don't have a charming apperance.But I often don't care this.I often say to myself like:"Well,I am not beautiful but I am lovely.Just as one of my teacher think me is sweety." to courage myself to love my life,my friends,my parents and all the people who care me.
