Can a good Muslim be a good American

Interesting questions for the Muslim Community to discuss & for research on
our part also.
Can a good Muslim be a good American? I forwarded that question to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years . The following is his forwarded reply:
Theologically - no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon God of Arabia .
Religiously - no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam (Quran,2:256)
Scripturally - no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran).
Geographically - no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca , to which he turns in prayer five times a day.
Socially - no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews. Politically - no. Because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and Destruction of America , the great Satan.
Domestically - no. Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34 ).
Intellectually - no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.
Philosophically - no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow
freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.
Spiritually - no. Because when we declare "one nation under God," the Christians God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Qurans 99 excellent names.
Therefore after much study and deliberation.... Perhaps we should be very
suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both
"good" Muslims and good Americans.
Call it what you wish..its still the truth. You had better believe it!
If you find yourself intellectually in agreement with the above statements,
perhaps you will share this with your friends. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future. Pass it on Fellow Americans. The religious war is bigger than we know or understand.

We have a problem up here in Canada. It seems the Muslims here are no more loyal to Canada then the ones down in America. We should all pray that they see that the worship to Allah is to a false god. Their god is a cruel god, not a loving and not a just god. The Muslim religion was spread through intimidation and conquest, not through love and example. In Europe because of the great secularism and the animosity to God and Jesus Christ, and to Christians, the people are being lured to Mohammedanism, but at least in America, the truth about God and Jesus Christ is still alive and may it always remain so.

I think so. Not all Muslims are killers. I have an uncle who is Muslim from Jordan. He is a good man. I feel sorry that he and his family are being discriminated against in America when they never harmed anyone.

Yes I feel sorry for them too wisedragon. I wish things were much different. They are being discrimited against because of stereotypes.
And you have no room to talk revdauphinee. You are spreading hate by saying that another religion is evil. Satan is speaking through you. Jesus would NEVER say that about other people or their spiritual path.

Economically- Muslims are a benefit to the community with the giving of alms 2.5% of their income ,the muslim religion is the most persuasive towards economic welfare.A muslim is allowed to gain as much gold if he keeps paying zakat.Only the taking of interest is banned in islam but not the giving of interest.
Socially- Islam is the most focused social religion of all time ,its persuasion towards relations is more then anything and even sins are judged according to their social impact if positive they might be rewarded as good deeds.The compulsory help of the poor and neeedy develops the society in its full manner.Islam has also allowed marriage outside religion with the followers of the books for a male muslim ,they are allowed to be friends with other religions and the holy Prophet pbuh serves the example when he allowed christians to pray in the mosque!,muslims are told to respect other religions and muslims never forced anyone to accept islam,the incident of conquest of makkah and khyber explain that.
Geographically the muslims are al;lowed to pray anywhere at any place but at a certain time the place should just be clean only one pilgrimage per lifetime is compulsory for man kind in mecca so they can live anywhere even in desert wudu is allowed with clean earth and sand.
domestically: a muslim is preferred to marry once and allowed to marry four times because of the ration of women against men 4:1 respectively.
Polotically: a muslim is encouraged to obey the polotical leader at all costs he can only neglect his orders if they are against islamic rights eg. The banning of azaan
Democratically- islam has encouraged to be democratic at all times referendums were always held on major decisions of Prohpet Muhammad pbuh.
Spiritually - Yes the christian God is the same as the Islamic God except the acceptance of jesus as only a messenger of ALLAH

HELLO THIS IS CRAP ! HAy PLEASE LISTEN . koran says that or agress that" jesus christ(ezra)is the mightier prophet than anybody including momohamd" heavenly father is none other than allah . the pronlem arises when momhamd and jesuse christ difference . its between rude and soft. I think 70% of the muslims can be american becuse they are educated but this idiots called terros create disaster to humansbeings.God is a love god. he cannot be rude as koran says.for ur wuesyon? my abswer is 70% people can be true muslim !

The Constitution has nothing at all to do with the Bible. Sorry, but that's a historical fact.
Of course Muslims can be good Americans. That friend of yours is clearly biased and I can tell he is a Christian. A fundamentalist Christian of course. Fundies always spew hate speech like that to try and cause problems between different religions. This is always done to benefit themselves in one way or another and it is unethical. They don't follow the teachings of Jesus, they follow the teachings of Satan. When a fundy spreads hate like that, Satan is speaking through them.

will u close ur mouth pleaseeeeeeeee ! first of all u say people who follow bible are satans words?.listen jesus by the power of god made hundereds of miracle .I can name them one by one. can u just name one miracle done by momhammad ?it always use to tell cut the head and kill them. Does jesus say like that. God is patience so bible gives patience knowlege.qorans says to be agressive to human beings. I am really sorry if i would have offended any othe muslims. First of all do u know what is the difference between quran and bible.its simple quran is nothing but oldtestmant of bible. we call jesus as son of god but muslims think he is mightier prophet !.According to ur question muslims can be good american ! yes .becuse many muslims know that god is one.But only some fools who fight create a fight among caste for their prophet create such unwanted things.muslims call jesus as ezra !.muslims can be a good american if this unwanted element the soul called against cast .REMEMBER- IN EVERYCOMMUNITY THERE ARE BLACK SHIPS.ACCODING TO UR QUESTIN ? You are totally right if sectism' is abolished then muslims can truly succeed in the world.The caste or sect system was basically only made to preserve all the qualities of Holy Prophet pbuh which turned into a fight because of the caliphs.

Hi revdauphinee. Actually, Jews, Christians and Muslims all worship the same God of Abraham. Don't forget that Jews don't worship Jesus either, but they aren't considered "wrong". I'm not even sure Jews think Jesus is the son of God in the sense the Bible does.
