Right now beside my name there is a number (88), according to the Chinese people, 8 is a lucky number. I don't know but here in the Philippines the number '8' also plays a significant role because based on what I was taught, when you write the number '8' it goes up. Meaning you start from the top and end at the top, unlike a wheel it once up and then goes down. Because the number '8' indicates that it is up, it means that it is good luck and things will turn up and will be good. I have come to like the fact that '8' seems to be a lucky number to me. I don't know if others have a similar belief, but what do you think of superstitions?

For me I don't believe in superstitious belief or fengsui at all. I only believe in what God, give us as fate and blessings.
Many people saying that it's not bad to believed with those things because there is nothing to lost. But if you firmly believe in God, that believed should not be an idea to transgress the commandment of God. Believing with those pagans belief is against the rule of God. So, I'd be better not to entertain them...

thats very interesting i quite like the feng Shui ideas, I think my house was built by someone with feng Shui belief, a non-straight path to the front door, the front door is not directly toward the back door and I thibk there is a lot to think about in some of the Feng Shui reasonings, I will remember the number 8 thing in future..
