Help, How can I Stop It?

Introducing Ask.com is driving me crazy. I can not get anythng done here at mylot or anywhere else. It keeps popping up every two seconds like a nasty intruder! I am so ticked off I will never never use that site. I mean that. So far I have been cut of twice while trying to type this post. Okay so I am not a computer whiz it is true. There must be a easy way for me to stop this annoying website from popping up and ruining my day? Can anyone help me? Thanks for your help or maybe you just want to rant about your own annoying website or pop up issues.

If you installed it you have to uninstall it. If you cant then its time to try both an anti-spyware and anti-virus scan.

No I didn't install this stupid thing. I was watching a entertainment show tonight and I notice when they showed something from the web they were using this Ask.com page. Errr it keeps opening up and I lose my spot here. I have to exit the Ask page out then come back. I am going to attemt to follow advice from the second comment. Anything more serious I will have to call someone.

you need a good pop up blocker. If you use internet explorer, go to tools internet options. You can go tgo kimkomando dot com and ge a variety of free and virus free popup blockers as well

Thank I will do that. Wow I left my pc on while I had dinner and watched the news I came back to about 50 pages opened for Ask.com. Errr

I do not have trouble with Ask.com, but I use Firefox and they have good pop up removers. I do not like the Internet Explorer based browsers for that reason. I use Flash Peak Slimbrowser and I used to use Maxathon, but every so often a Maxathon pop up comes up on my Slimbrowser. I did get a free pop up browser when I was using Internet Explorer but they were not that good.
