Have you ever been duped (fooled) by someone you trusted implicitly? I have and it was one of the most terrible things I've ever gone through.

Yes, and it is the worst feeling in the world. It was my mother who did it to me...to make a long story short she's done me wrong so many times and b/c shes my mother i forgave her but i finally realized that its not worth it because shes never really sorry

I too have gone thru this situation many times thru friends and also family members. I thank god for giving me the strength to overcome all these problems. God is the only person and place where we can share our happiness and sorrows without any doubts!

Yes I have and unfortunately it changes the way you see everyone for ever....because it is always in your mind that one that you trusted did it so whats stopping anyone from doing it...its sad

Yes, I agree. Once someone has hurt you, it's extremely hard to trust again, but there are a lot of good people out there and the bad ones are few and far between. Thanks for your response!

I think that sums it up...life does go on and we can't judge everyone by the one who hurt us, so we just have to pick up and learn to trust all over again. Thanks for your response and all the best to you too!

Yes, I have, and I never imagined for a second that the individual involved, resented me so much. The incident occurred 13 mos. ago and I am still haunted by it. I know that I should move on and put that incident behind me...but it is really so much easier to say than it is to do...SS
