I think being in love is different for everybody. For me it can be the smallest thing that makes me realize I'm in love. Getting excited when he calls. Planning future events with him involved and not even noticing. Sacrifice. When you can do any little thing, watch TV, lay down, read, whatever, and still have a good time. I've only been in love once and I still currently am. About 3 years now. The way I know it's true is no matter how bad our fights get, what he says, does, I would still do anything in my power to make it work, because he means that much to me. When you're in love, I think you'll know. It's pretty difficult to ignore. :)

Love is when you want to give the very best of you with out expecting in return, being selfless is loving. Expecting something in return may that be a feelling, a smile or much more when you give that's lust.

when you cant imagine your life without that person you are in love. When you wake up and go to sleep thinking about that person you are in love. When you dont mind fighting so that you can have the make up. You are in love. When you hear that person whine for hours and still give a kiss good night you are in love. The problem is that love is blind and you cant really control it. Lust fades and you can adapt. With love it changes you but, lust is temporary.
