it does smell bad! and i haven't tasted it since the pungent smell scared me off! lol. i don't even eat durian candy and certainly not durian ice cream.

Heya there! Yap the fruit smells so awful! But you should try the candies. It has a lot of variations and different flavors. You should try the cookies and cream durian, It doesn't smell as punget as the fruit. The candies are much more sweet smelling. Happy posting:

them things are not allowed in hotels in some places
they are like spikey footballs and they taste NASTY

LOL! If you don't like the fruit I think you should try to eat the candies and its variants like the durian cake, tart, marshmallows, I do like durian cookies and cream!LOL.

I think I did before, when I was little. I haven't really paid much attention to the smell so I can't remember. Anyways, the candy version of it is delicious.

no, i don't eat durian. i can't stand the scent. my mom loves it though. everytime i go to davao, she asked me to bring her a couple of kilos of durian much to my dismay. i can understand how everybody likes the taste of durian but i can't fanthom how anyone can stand the smell of that fruit. the durian does live up to its name...the fruit that tastes like heaven but smells like hell.

Havn't tried the fruit itself, just the candies. hope i'll have a chance to taste it though,won't mind thestrong smell if it tastes good.
