Why Do People Talk in Movie Theatres?

It seems everytime I go to see a movie someone sitting next to me is talking. As a result, I usually wait for movies to come out on DVD, so I can watch them at home in peace and quiet. For you talkers, if you want to talk stay at home and rent a movie. Thank you. We paid to hear the movie, not your voice.

Do you mean they talk non-stop throughout the show or do they only talk during some parts of the show? I am sometimes guilty of talking during boring parts of the show. =P It gets too bored so I turned to my friend and ask him if he finds it boring too. Other than boring parts, I do not talk in the theater. =D Sorry if my talking has caused disturbance to you.

Yes, it's really irritating to be beside a group of people who can't control their voices at movie houses. Here in the Philippines, most people like to watch a movie with a friend or a group of friends. As a result, they usually make unnecessary noises inside while the movie is being played.

But then also i perfer to see movie in theatres, not in home as then the basic of movie seeing is lost, as experience of seeing in theatres is such experience which is not getting by bringing dvd at home.

Yep, people can be really rude in movie theaters. The price it too high in my opinion to go and be annoyed to the point where you can't pay attention to the movie. We joined Netflix over a year ago and have not been to the theater since. We keep our queue packed with movies we both (bubby and I) want to see and try to alternate on those movies that would only interest one of us. We have the two movies out at a time plan and it works very well. The service center closest to us is in our area so it only takes one day to get a movie back, they pop one in the mail that day and we have a new movie the following day. It's awesome and for less than $20 a month we can see unlimited movies!
