Are you still rating others Mylot?.

Yes honey, I am still rating people. It's always nice to be able to give pluses. Also, I find it a good way of keeping track if I have read a response. I only plus a response after I read it so everything stays neat.=)

I rate when I can. Especially since I know some members are grossly misrepresented by their star rating (redyellowblackdog for example... yes and yours truly). As far as mistakes go, one can do preview response to check the posting beforehand. If a mistake is still made, some people post after their own response to correct it.

I just rate the ones whose posts I respond to and those whose responses I comment on. I do not go though all the posts and rate the answers of everyone else who comments when I am not the poster. I have found I made an error once or twice and I wish I could have corrected it and for that, I wish that myLot could have a way to correct this. It is rather annoying as I do not like anyone losing points who did not deserve it.

Yes I am still rating other even if there is nothing good in it. I believe that by giving the users the rate they deserve is one way of thanking them for responding to my discussions. And I believe I do not get wrong rating them, because I do not give negative rating even if the response is against my belief. Not unless his response is offensive.

I do ratings because it says to do them in the guidelines. It says that it is set up in a way where no one person can single handedly sabotage your rating. I like to give a plus when someone answers, it shows my appreciation. Even though they don't see that I have done it, it makes me feel good that I have. The only time I will give a minus is when someone is deliberately rude to me. I have been doing Mylot for about ten months and there has only been one time that I have accidently hit the minus instead of the plus. I do not believe it was enough to make a difference in their rating.

i don't even bother rating ppl on here i figure every one has a good response and who am i to judge whos is better or less important maybe its important to them

Yes I still rate people, I always give you a plus. I don't know if it does any good or not, I still do it though.

I think rating is a good idea. Its a karma thing. All good posts and posters deserve credit and if you rate people hopefully others will rate you too. Do it out of the good of your heart and maybe you will get rewaded.

I always rate people that are taking time to answer in my discussion. If you look at what you are making, I don't see how can can make mistake in rating :P I also rate every discussion I reply too. It's a way to thank the person who start it, but also too remember witch dicussion you have already reply too.

I always rate all of the replies to my discussions, but I don't usually rate other people's discussions. I don't know why, I guess I usually just forget to. Ratings don't really matter to me, but I do it out of habit, plus it let's me know which replies I have read because it will say I already rated it.

Yes, I rate every discussion that I respond too. The reason I do is because it helps me keep track of the discussions that I have responded to since that is what I do most of, instead of starting discussions, though I have started a few here and there. But for me rating is a tracking device to help me keep track of the one's that I have already responded.

I have read on the boards the theory that rating is part of how MyLot figures out how good a discussion or response is. In which case, if that is true, then it is probably a good idea to rate those discussions that you respond to. I am not sure if it is true or not, but I tend to rate all the discussions that I read; after all, it is a easy way to keep track of what you have read already and what you haven't.

I remember to rate occassionally! lol. Hey, I got kids! I believe I suffer from baby brain much of the time! I have accidentally rated the wrong way, but not much I can do about it! They do need to change that!

I like to rate people, because they made the effort of writing something so they deserve a rate. But I agree with you, I had a problem with my muse once and selected - instead of + and I couldn't change it :(

Yes, Marciascott, I do rate some of my fellow mylotter, i think that not a big problem to me if i give them pluses, much better to help each other to have more fun her, all of us her will be happy if we work in one hand (UNITY)

Rating is the first thing that I do when I respond to a discussion. It is second nature to me.I hope that most peple do this,

I always rate people, expecially users that respond to my discussions and people who start discussions I respond. I think rating is a good way to make people improve their behaviour here in mylot.

I think the ratings we give each other have a lot to do with the amounts we earn. Since it's something we are supposed to do and it helps my friends yes, I'm still rating.

Hi marciascot, my lot doesnot give second chance to correct mistakes. but it is common for every one so nothing to worry . if some mistake is done, than we can request mylot adminitrator to delet it. yes I do rate others responses and discussions on mylot.

I rate every discussion that I respond to. I wasn't for awhile in the beginning but rating helps with that person's star and earning level. There are a few people that I have run into here that have had their rating continuously tampered with, so I think something should be done in that instance. I don't think I have ever accidentally rated someone wrong, at least I hope that I haven't!
