What is difference between a country and a homeland?

We can see many countries on the glob or atlas of this world. But there is only a country which we call “our homeland”. Which country is your homeland? Do you have such country or place you love more than your homeland?

The UK is my homeland and the country I was born. I have spent time living in Australia and so that place also feels like home to me. Other countries I feel that I would like if one of them was home are New Zealand, Samoa and Belize. I would happily emigrate to New Zealand if I could. It is similar to England, with a very low population and the scenery there is so beautiful.
