CREAMaid is a sponsored post company. They have advertisers post what they call "conversations". These conversation starters are what you blog about to make money. You then follow a widget and add a post to your blog and submit your e-mail address.
When you see the widget it is really easy!
Okay, here are the positives. First off, it is a little different then other paid to post type of companies which makes it fun. Second it is easy, you follow the suggestions in the conversation, write your post, add a snippet of code provided in the widget, add your e-mail address and sit back. You are e-mailed to say that it has been submitted. Later (if you are accepted) you are sent an acceptance e-mail. At this time they give you a link for you to get paid. You click the link, enter the verification code provided in the e-mail, enter your PayPal e-mail address and you are paid by the next morning. Fun, easy, and fast. Never had a problem with payment.
The down side. Your discussion might not be accepted by the advertiser. In fact I have found more and more of mine aren't accepted. To me it feels like the majority of advertisers are getting free advertising by denying us. We have the blog up, they deny us, they get our traffic, we don't get money. Additionally there are no e-mails to let you know you haven't been accepted, so it is kinda like, "Well, how long do I wait?"
The other thing is right now there aren't very many conversations.
Here's the thing. I e-mailed CREAMaid a couple of weeks ago about these issues. They are in beta right now (second testing faze). The e-mail they replied with said that they were looking at making it so that the advertisers couldn't be so picky. Then when you write a post that follows CREAMaid guidelines and the conversations suggestions you would be accepted. This would make it a lot better.
Additionally, as time goes on they are getting more and more advertisers. So, right now CREAMaid is only so so, but it sounds like it will be a great resource in the future. One last thing. You don't have to have an old blog to use CREAMaid. I had one that was accepted on a blog that was two days old with seven or eight posts. This is good for young blogs that don't yet qualify for anything else!
