donaire just put a good and impressive fight against a mandatory challenger. he intends to unify all the belts under the flyweight division. can he do it? does he have the power and skills to do it? have your say

Before his fight today, I was doubtful. He did beat Darchinyan and undefeated boxer who was feared in their division prior to fighting Donaire who knocked him with a good, perfect, amazing, strong and LUCKY left hook. In that short fight Donaire did show an amazing hand speed and was very quick. I was impressed but when you think about it he is really still unproven. But after his fight today, I can now see get a couple or unify all the belts. He needs 3 more so it is still a long way to go for Donaire. I wouldn't say that he is now the best but it is already safe to say that he is one of the top boxers in his division today. Donaire is slowly improving so let us just wait and see.

i agree with you. he needs more fights to assert himself in the flyweight division. however, this fight against maldonado is a good message that he is indeed a boxer to reckon with, no doubt about it. he has fought 20 matches so far. he has a lot to improve and experience, as they say, is the great teacher.

yeah, i believe it too. he is a skilled boxer with only 20 fights. so with more fights, he can hone and polish his skills and be ready to fight anyone in his weight division.
