Tonight we had fresh greens and radishes from the garden. Mrs 1st picked leaf lettuce and bibb lettuce to thin the rows so the others would grow fuller. She also picked several red radishes and small onions that were ready tossing them into a salad with a fresh parsley and garlic vinegarette dressing. The radishes were a little hot, but I like them that way. She served that with a lentil soup and fresh bread. Absolutely excellent. Our peas are almost ready. I can hardly wait for a meal of peas and potatoes. Within two months we should have tomatoes and cucumbers too. I die for fresh garden cucumbers served with garlic, onions, and cream. There is nothing like tomatoes and cukes fresh from the garden. Nothing you buy in the store compares in flavor. Nothing!!

We are planning to visit our neice who is arranging a dinner for us. She is a school teacher and her daughter has to prepare a project report and present it at school. My wife is a resource person. So we will first have a meeting and then dinner. That is the plan for sunday evening. Sunday morning is laready gone in cleanng the cash, ironing clothes etc. Now I am watching TV and will have a nap.
