i told my mom to buy a pink blouse and she said "pink is a young girls color," she would rather buy a magenta or fushia pink. my mom is 75 and i think that pink is still okay for her. i dont want to go against what she wants coz i dont want her to feel sad. but i just want to ask if pink is for young girls only?

Your mother is too conservative. You are adult person with own preferences. I dont like the pink color, but in a proper combination it can be refreshing. And of course, it`s more suitable for ladies with a slim body then to thoose ones with large construction.

I don't think so. I have many male friends that like to wear a pink cloth and use pink things. I think they are the one who love a color pink and like me I have also a favorite color. My favorite color is red and green. I like green because it is calm to my eyes and it is a color of environment. I like color red because it is a brave color and a color of true love for me.

Yes, I think so. So before my baby was born and therefore I would try to avoid buy pink clothes. I will buy some colors that suit both girls and boys, such as yellow, white and so on. If a boy wears in pink, it will be a little strange for me.

for infants it is kinda strange to see boys wearing pink. we only knew if the new born is a boy or girl from their clothes. thanks for the response

before, i was like that... its strange for me everytime i saw a boy wearing a pink clothes... but somehow i find it cute... not all the boys looks good on pink but there are few of them who does.... my friend two son used to wear a pink polo and geez they look godd on it... and i saw a friend of mine wear a pink too... but i guess it depends on the person who wear it... :)

hmm well nope, I don’t think pink is a young girls colour only. Sure it might look feminine and girlish but I think it suits people of all ages. But I guess it depends on an individual's preference. If your mom doesn’t want a pink blouse but instead wants magenta/fushia pink, then perhaps it's best to buy the colour that she likes. at least you know she'll wear it or something hehe...

hi roni!! ^__^ ogenki desu ka?? i don't think pink is for young girls only. most young girls prefer it though but the color is not exclusively for them. pink can suit anyone as long as the person feels comfortable with it and feels confident with it. in short, "carry" nya to wear clothes of that color. ^__^ even men can wear pink as long as they feel good with it. i guess your mom is just used to seeing young girls mostly wearing pink and a few, or maybe none, old people wearing the color that's why she thought it was only for young girls. ^__^;; so understanding of you to let her be. ^__^

The color pink means love and dainty. I love pink and I think it is a girl's color, not only for young girls but also for adults like me who's very fond of pink. I have pink blouses and tshirts, pink purse, pink everywhere.

it is said in your profile that you are in your 40's. my mom is 75, so maybe she doesnt feel good on wearing pink because i have 3 daugthers who are teens and wears a lot of pink clothes. maybe thats the reason she doesnt like to wear pink becasue she sees my daughter wearing. hahaha. thanks for the response

nah, i don't think pink is a young girls color. It depends on what your mum is comfortable with ultimately. although i do agree young girls look especially sweet in pink. i personally have been making a consicous effort to buy more clothes in colours other than black. but the shops sell so many black clothes these days!!

i really dnot think so.i love baby pink a lot.its my favourite colour right from my childhood.though i am very young right now but i think this colour is always going to be my favourite colour.i love wearing pink lipsticks as well. i think pink is a colour which resembles love.it does not have to do anytihng with age.however many ladies also start loving magenta as thier age grows since this colour really suits every lady of all age.

I hated pink when i was a little girl but now that i am 31, i am partial to it. I buy my Mom pink colored blouses and other light colors cause it makes her look younger and is easy on the eye. At first she opposed me and won't wear the colors i preferred but in time she realized that wearing "young" colors is actually preferable to the "older" colors she used to want to buy like browns and magentas. :-)
