It seems almost like a requirement today to have an obnoxious sound in your song if you want it to get any airplay. For what reason, I don't understand. For example, One Republic/Timbaland song 'Apologize', there is a bizzare sound of a guy in the background going "yeahh eeiiggh eaiggh". What about Fergie's 'Clumsy' song, 'The Girl Can't Help it (muffled) OHHHH NOOO!. That is just too weird. The new Natasha Bedinfield song sounds like they are stepping on a baby doll. Even the Jordan Sparks Tattoo song has a obnoxious sound played in the background of the song. Can someone tell me why the songs have weird sounds in the background now or if you really enjoy songs with unmusical oddities in it?

I know what you're talking about and I hate it. Like Fergie, when she does it, she manages to make a NASAL sounding annoying noise. Not just a regular noise, but nasal. Which is even worse. I can do without the uh, uhs, or the mmmm, that's what I'm talkin' bout mmmm...stop it! lol

I just think it's great that they have that.I don't think it's really weird because there are so many songs which have those sort of background and i really love it.
It just makes the song complete and it makes it more than a song.
A song with a special song is more appreciated than the usual pop songs or rock songs.
When a theme get's bored then try to mix it with something else.Like Pop can be mixed with rock.Or rock with R&B.that makes it awesome.Music needs to change.Pop songs from the 80's and 90's were dfferent than the songs we hear now.
