I wish I had one of those dream pregnancies where all was great no pain no nothing. From day one I had issues and this was way before I knew I was pregnant. I could not drink alchohol (not that I was a huge drinker before) but 1 sip and I was in lala land. I could not drink coffee one drink and I would spend my day in the toilet. Than I learned I was pregnant and had to have million tests as we have family history of disabilities and diabetis. Then I found my best friend I called him mr. toilet even the smell of food send me there. Than I lost so much weight the doctor was going to kill me (yeah as if I wanted to loose so much). but the moment my son was born (almost 2 weeks overdue, on his fathers b'day and after 7-8 hours in labour) I forgot all the pain (well almost). And cant wait to have more.

As far as my pregnancies, both were dream pregnancies....well I had absolutely no trouble...morning sickness...nothing. I would do everything I wanted to do. I had a little bleeding in the first trimester for the first one....had to get a shot once a week for 3 months (it wasn't so bad) and then I was fine...had an easy labour for 2.5 hours and before I knew it baby was out. The second was trouble-free till we knew that the umblical cord (which we knew was around his neck and was not a matter of concern) tightened around his neck and the blood supply to his brain was affected. So, it was an emergency C-section and besides the worry and being scared for the baby, I was fine physically. But post-surgery pain was bad:(

wow injections for 3 month I hate needles (everytime I am sick I get better just by them telling me I need a needle). I know c-section hurts a lot (well I am told it does) my friend chose to have it done 3 times not because she had any problems but she wanted it that way.

Yes...my cousin chose to have a C-section too. But I guess she was on pain killers for a very long time and that's why she didn't really experience as much pain. My pain tolerance level is quite high and my older son is just like me. We visited a clinic last week (for my younger one) and a doctor trying to scare my older one asked him if he needed an injection and readily agreed. The doctor was taken aback and didn't know what to do 'coz he was just trying to have some fun with him and expected a vehemant NO!

lucky you I cant even do my eyebrows because it hurts so much. When I was a child I used to pretend I was sick so I would stay at home and they would somethimes give me needle and I would choose needles instead of school. Then I had enough of them.

It is weird how we really do forget the pain when we see the precious little face of a baby. I have to say every time I think about the pain I am like what are you doing having another baby, but it is worth every minute of the pain we go through.

Yes lots of women get high blood presure and sugar levels. I gave birth with blood presure 60/70 but that was just for the birth.

When I was pregnant, I was like you. I believe I experienced every bad thing that could happen during pregnancy. I had "morning sickness" for the whole nine months I was pregnant. In fact, I threw up my last meal before my son was born. There was so many things I couldn't eat or drink. Even some of my favorite foods made me sick with just the thought of them. I couldn't get a good night rest because I was constantly getting up with leg cramps and backaches. Through all this I worked as a waitress until I was 39 weeks. I did get lucky with my labor and delivery even though the labor pains was awful. I spent the majority of my labor in the comfort of my own home. We got to the hospital and 30 minutes later my son was born. My husband and I had decided we wanted 4 kids but when I was pregnant I wasn't sure if I could ever go through that again. That all changed when I held my son for the first time. Every thing I went through was worth it and I am more than willing to go through it all again. Becoming a mother has got to be the greatest feeling ever.

I had this time when all I could eat was sweet (it must have been about the time I stoped huging the toilet) and heart burn started. My husband used to lay in bed watching me and he used to say I watched you last night even in your dream you can see when the baby kicked you jumped :)))). Boy I would give anything to be in that situation again. Who needs sleep and eating, and slim body :))) My cousin had 2 baby girls few months ago (twins) and her belly was still big so my son walked to her and said baby (pointing to the belly) she said no they are out. So he came to me and said baby (pointing to my belly) I said no it is not in yet.

I have four children, ages 10-1. During each of my pregnancies I had morning (noon and night)sickness months 2 through 4. Thankfully I didn't do a lot of throwing up because I always start underweight to begin with. I had gestational diabetes with babies 2 and 4 (my second son and second daughter). My oldest son was my longest and most painful labor. He was born 5 days before his due date. My next son was 3 weeks early. My first daughter was a month early. My youngest daughter was also a month early and my only C-section. She was breech and completely wrapped up in her umbilical cord. She was born on my dad's birthday. She is our last baby.

wow all born early you shoud have seen me late winter early spring lots of clothes on as huge as. I had all day sickness for 80% of my pregnancy only had about 6-7 weeks that I did not have it but I had heartburn and needed to use the toilet every 10 min. I did managed to put a bit of weight during that period.
