My thought is always" But for the grace go I"
Heavenly Father, Help us remember that the jerk who cut us off in
traffic last night is a single mother who worked nine hours that day
and is rushing home to cook dinner, help with homework, do the
laundry and spend a few precious moments with her children.
Help us to remember that the pierced, tattooed, disinterested
young man who can't make change correctly is a worried 19-year-old college
student, balancing his apprehension over final exams with his
fear of not getting his student loans for next semester.
Remind us, Lord, that the scary looking bum, begging for money in
the same spot every day (who really ought to get a job!)is a slave to
addictions that we can only imagine in our worst nightmares
Help us to remember that the old couple walking annoyingly slow
through the store aisles and blocking our shopping progress are savoring
this moment, knowing that, based on the biopsy report she got back
last week, this will be the last year that they go shopping together .
Heavenly Father, remind us each day that, of all the gifts you
give us, the greatest gift is love. It is not enough to share that love
with those we hold dear. Open our hearts not to just those who are
close to us, but to all humanity. Let us be slow to judge and quick to
forgive, show patience, empathy and love.
Think before you judge! Wonder what might motivate that stupid person to do what they did!! Maybe they are not stupid after all just having a bad day or worried or sick. Handle the world and it's inhabitants with gentle hands. Treat everyone with respect even that loser down the street! Is he a loser or has he fallen on hard times!
Any thoughts Friends?

I remember once years ago when my Tony was very ill for months. We dragged him for lots af invasive tests and could find nothing. We thought it was meningitis but thankfully he finally began to get better. When we took him for his dr. appointment he was swinging from the rafters! Even the dr. Came out and laughed at his antics..It was the first time in many visits that he didn't sit listlessly in my arms...We all were so happy...
Sweetie we don't know why she was allowing this behavior but lets just assume that she had a good reason!
My Gran used to say " Do not condemn your friend until you walk a mile in his boots" ...I try but don't always succeed!

In one word TRUE true true, sorry I got carried away there, that was wonderful my dear friend, thanks for sharing, sure had me smiling, a great philosophy to have indeed, If we all were to take those lines what a wonderful world this would be and we could all put our rose coloured glasses on again, providing they are redeemable after being scratched and broken too often! Thanks sweets xxxx

What great words to live by! I will also forward this on to some of my friends and to some who might get something from it, if you get my drift. I always do try to put myself in other's shoes, so to speak, and that saying you started this post with is my unofficial motto. We should never take things purely on face value because there's usually more than meets the eye. I've already been guilty of being distracted after a bad day or when I wasn't feeling well and done something dumb, like accidentally cut someone off in traffic or unintentionally block someone's way in the grocery aisle so I really can appreciate it if my unfortunate "victims" can find it in their hearts to forgive me!
