It's a Wonderful Life...Isn't it?

This movie opened in 1946. Have you seen it? Jimmy Stewart was very down on his luck and wished he had never been born. His angel granted his request and he got to see what the world would have been like without him. He realized in the end that he had a purpose in this world and had a positive influence on others that made their lives better. If you had this experience, what would you realize? Reflection is good for the soul.

It is without a doubt one of the best movies for the season! I would hope that I would find the same. That by being born I have made life better for someone or touched their lives in a special way that benefited them. Good discussion!

Yes I've seen this movie. I hope they show it again or remake it. It gives hope to all of us, knowing that we are unique and has a specific purpose that we alone can share. Just like what Barbie said in "The 12 Dancing Princess", "No matter how big or small, there's a difference only you can make". God bless.

I think you misunderstood heecho25. I was explaining that in the movie, Jimmy got to see what the world would be like if he had never been born...and he got to see how his friends lives were not as good without him, which meant he mattered and actually helped others to make their lives better. I wanted mylotters to refect on their lives to see how they may have changed things by being on this earth.
