I don't mean with your kids. If you're a grown-up, and you watch kids movies because you want to, not because your kids are watching them... My kids are grown and I LOVE watching the kids movies. We watched Ice Age tonight and I laughed the whole way through it!!! It was awesome!!! I kept looking over at my husband saying "You can't tell me that wasn't funny!" And he'd just say "I love watching you laugh at this stuff." My favorite is Shrek though, I should be getting the third one in the mail any day now!!! Me and my friend Mary used to "hijack" our other friends kid so we could go to the theater and watch the kids movies, but now we just go, we don't care that we don't have kids with us!

Too cute Dawn! Going to the movies with no kids! LOL I wouldn't say that I seek out watching kids movies, but I have seen some that I thought were really good and very funny. Shrek is one of them, I just think the characters are hilarious. Some of the jokes in them are more adult related though. I've watched a few kids movies, not many, lets see....The Lion King, Jungle Book (even though I saw it as a kid, I saw the newer version)....hmm I guess thats about it! LOL A friend of mine suggested I rent HedgeHogs or something, she said it was really funny. She has a kid so she's seen most of the good ones. I'm sure there are others, just not coming to mind right now. Bay Lay Gray xx

"Over the Hedge" is AWESOME!!!! Wanda Sykes is too funny!!!! I add these movies to my Blockbuster list all the time!!! Now, I did see "Happy Feet" recently, and it was ok - Robin Williams I think, did an awesome job. But, "Ice Age" last night was GREAT!!!

Actually I may have seen Ice Age, seems like I did. LOL I'm just terrible with movies, I don't really watch them all that much. I think that the characters voices have a lot to do with it, the mixture of the voices that you know or can recognize with a vision of a cartoon character and the two just make a funny or enjoyable combination. We as adults see it funny in other ways than a kid would I think. lol Bay xx

I will have to admit that I had a collection of kid movies before I even had my kids. When my husband and i were dating we went to see "Finding Nemo" in the theater. I think we were the only people there without kids.

A lot of the new animated movies are really great, and the humor is sometimes aimed at adults. I like them also. And, if you dislike profanity and violence in the movies, your choices are pretty limited!

I remember some movies just listening to the kids chuckle because the adults were. You know they were thinking - that's not funny...

I can't say that I do, but I don't watch too many movies. But if I was going to watch a movie, I wouldn't have any problem watching it without kids. They are usually a lot cleaner movie and they just don't make too many good one's these days. One I won't watch is Golden Compass!

Like others have said, some of the kid movies have adult humor in them. But it's cool because there's no voilence or language in them. Sometimes I just get such a good laugh out of them :)

I watch kid movies a lot. I like the cartoons in particular like I am so fond of watching the CARS and Finding Nemo. Kid movies are quite feel good ones.

We were just talking about Cars the other day. I have to watch it again. My sisters said that in most of the scenery were shapes of old cars! I do remember seeing it in a couple scenes but they said it was like EVERYWHERE! That was a good movie!

Hijack you're friends kids! That's funny! Yeah, I'll watch kids movies too, my all time favorite is Swiss Family Robinson. I hated Shrek though, I have to say. I also love to read children's books. They're so simple and uncomplicated and usually colorful and lots of fun. I don't know who got the idea the 'adult' books should not have pictures in them.

I like watching cartoons and the animated movies and I have no children. I also just simply love Disney movies, the non-animated G rated type.

I like watching kids movies. When I got pregnant my husband and I went and put every kid movie in the layway. We got them out before my daughter arrived and we watched all of them. I'm with you I love Shrek. They had a Christmas special the other night on and my daughter didn't want to watch it with me but I recorded it on DVR and I like watching even that. I like flushed away and Ant bully is a good one. I had movies on VHS before we had kids and I would watch them all the time.

I would rather watch some of the kids movies than watch some of the adult movies made today. My friends and I loved Ice Age we even love to look at the toys that are made from the characters of childrens movies. I love Shrek I have not seen Shrek two nor Shrek three.

I think Shrek was the best, then Shrek II, and Shrek II was ok, but not one of the best.

When I was a kid the weekend Disney movies where awesome! We didn't have cable so when us kids where at a cousins house (they had cable) we would be glued to the Disney Night movie. To this day I LOVE kid movies from Disney or Pixar it doesn't matter I buy them when they are new, my kids are all grown an gone except for one and he is 13 years old he will sit down with me and watch them. I watch them no matter who is around I don't care if people know I watch cartoons...lol. More people need to let the kid in them out and wake up on a Saturday morning, eat chocolate cereal and watch cartoons all morning, it would make this world a much better place. The best to you Amberina.

I totally agree!!! It's great to be a kid again - even if we have to grow up a hour or so later...

There are definitely some kids' movies that I would watch even if I didn't have kids. I like a lot of the Disney movies that aren't animated. Jump In is one that comes to mind right off the top of my head. Oh, and The Cinderella Story. I have to say... the Shrek movies were really not my thing. The third one was really bad in my opinion. I hope you enjoy it, though!

Wow, there are a few people that didn't like Shrek... I loved the first one, second one was ok and I thought the thrid was almost as good as the first one. I had to see them all in the theater and also buy them. My husband thinks I'm nuts.

yeah..its hard to believe but i like to watch kids movies..especially those 3d animations..i like how they make it so real..id really appreciate those talents in making such great movies..the latest that i watch is "The Bee Movie".its not just the art that makes it interesting but you can get some moral lesson out of it..and its not that bad example for the young ones to see an older guy watching their stuff.what is bad example is when they see the older guy watching those bad movies..so they might as well be curious and try also..but for me i like watching it over and over again..

I loved watching these movies with my kids when they were little - and we did watch "Happy Feet" a couple weeks ago together. Now that they're grown I hardly see them, so I have to watch the kid movies without them.

I do! I love childrens movies. Maybe that has to do with the fact that I have a five year old, but I enjoy movies he won't watch haha.
