Lets wait for the last day and if India manages to win (possibilities of which seem bleak though I'm a die hard Indian fan) then the credit should go to the bowlers but otherwise i think we should go for Misbah. Just because Indian batsmen were too good and so is Jaffer. He played a great innings but it was Misbah who stood tall among the ruins and did definitely save the test for Pakistan.

I think you are right, misbah caught hold of the situation when it was quite needed of him.

On the last day, if India declares early, you never know if an indian bowler can go on take wickets and collapse the pakistan team. Then, it would be a bowler who would be declared as the man of the match. It looks to me, India is going to win this one and a bowler would be the man of the match.

Wasim Jafer with his performance has sealed the Man of the match award in the match. Unless Misba Ul hauq plays a out of the skin knock in the second innings Jafer is almost a certain choice.

I genuinely believe that whatever be the outcome of the test match, Misbah & Kamran Akmal should be declared joint man-of-the-match. What a performance by the two. Yesterday around lunch time we were just discussing at home (it being a Sunday), how only a pair of centuries can only save Pakistan from inevitable defeat. Misbah was OK, but Kamran Akmal was a revelation. They truly deserve all praise and honour for turning a match from sure winner for India to something else, maybe.

definitely jaffer. After scoring double century in the first innings he scored half-century in the second innings as well. So, there is nobody even close to him.
