Responding to responses

I often respond to the replies to my discussions that I get. Sometimes I find it gets a reply, then I write back and then the My Lot user writes again. This happened with one of the questions I asked and one My member wrote a number of interesting things, again and again so I gave them best response. I feel sure that My Lot users get notified by email when another My Lot member responds to their discussion. So I imagine they read this but many do not make a further reply. I think we do get paid for responding to responses, especially if what we write is of good quality. However just saying thanks for responding may not earn much if any money at all. I read all responses I get, but don't always comment. I do if I have something to add, but I don't just write 'thanks for the response.' You do not get paid for responding in your own discussions, and your number of posts does not go up when you respond in your own discussions. Some people consider it courtesy to comment on every response, and that is why they do it. As I said, I don't automatically comment on every response, but I do read all of them.

Probably the response what you have received is sufficient enough and when you comment on it, they should be able to write back. You are right many people do not. Probably they have not kept the option of mylot's email services. If they have kept it positive, all the comments would have been in their mail and they could have answered.

I do respond to the responses I get for my discussions and responses and respond to the responses of the the other's responses who respond to the responses or responses to the discussion.

I don't know if responses count toward being paid but they should. I reply when I have something worthy of saying to someone.

Hello biggerb! Yes, we do the same thing. I often comment on the responses I got from my discussions. You're wondering if the members are reading our responses. Well, in my case it is yes. Because I do read the comment on the response I make to a certain discussion. I am turning my mail alerts on every time there is someone who responds to my discussion or someone who comments on my response. And mostly, about the earning on the comments.
