Do you like to sleep?

I love to sleep. I cannot sacrifice my sleep for anything, unless children are sick. I will not watch tv or go for late night movie, foregoing my sleep. How about you? Do you like sleeping or do not give much importance for that?

Sleep is healthy, I sleep for about 5-6 hours every day, however, I dont skip my TV programs, I largely sleep late because most of my favourite TV shows come late-for instance I like Aljezira broadcasts in English, and those come rather late on our local TVs.

Different people need different sleeping time.some need 10 hours a day to maintain his brain sober, the other just need 6 hours and they can be fresh all day.

Hello dear Buchi_bulla. I understand you when you say that you like to sleep because we are humans and we need to have enough time to sleep to make sure that we have enough energy to work and study. When I have to work, I feel so sorry that I cannot have enough time to sleep well because I have to get up early in the morning, but now since I am having my winter vacation, I am so happy that I can always have enough time to sleep as late as I feel like getting up as a very relaxation to me. These days I get up as late as nine thirty and ten or later. It is really a great luxury for me to have this long holiday for me to enjoy good sleep every day. I love sleeping and a good sleep is very important to us all. Thanks for your discussion, my dear friend. I also wish you to have a good sleep every day.

Thanks for the wishes for a good sleep. Sleep well in the winter vacation and accumulate much energy so that loss of sleep later will, to some extent, be compensated.

Dear friend, I do love to sleep, but if I feel sleepy and also feels I could get a comfortable sleep. Mostly the feeling of sleepiness in me makes me like sleeping. It is also a part of relaxing. If I get a good healthy sleep it gives a really a refreshment and energetic feeling which I love to have forever.

Some people will have lot of other interests. An actor has written the other day that he sleeps only for four hours a day as his commitments are more. One writer wrote that she sleeps for the same four hours. The yoga master Ramdevji says three hours good sleep is enough for him. Former Indian Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi was saying that she sleeps for four hours as she had to see the files that are piled up every day. Hence I put this discussion. But I do not think I can do this for a long time. In marriage halls, we will be busy and all relatives will be together and will be talking for the whole night. But this cannot continue for a long time. I do not know how these people are following this pattern. Hats off to them.

I like to sleep but not that much. In fact, over the last several years I've learned I can function on far less sleep than I ever could before. I like to get at least 8 hours but that is not always possible.

May be your work pattern is like that. But my husband also is not particular of 8 hours sleep. But nothing happens to him. He is, may be, used to it. But I will feel giddy and disoriented if I do not get at least 7 hours sleep. Thanks for responding.

I enjoy sleeping too. But I am more a night person so I spend most of the mornings sleeping except if I am at school in the morning. I sleep about 10 hours average per day and I feel fine after that, I can think better and concentrate better. I think that's why I love sleeping.

Of course i like to sleep but i don't make it a habit to take naps in the afternoon. It kind of make me sick so i stopped doing so. I just make sure to sleep early so i have long hours of sleep which is good for our body. As much as possible i don't sacrifice my sleeping time over watching movies in the evening. At first it took a lot of discipline in me to do it but eventually sleeping early finally got into my system.

Same thing with me. I did not like science and history. I used to go to sleep, whenever I had to study these two subjects. After going to college these subjects were not there. If somebody bore me, I feel sleepy. Some people, without noticing whether the other person is interested in their talk or not, go on boring us. We cannot even say no to this talk.

I like to sleep very much. Sometimes I just can't get out of the bed but then usually my head hurts because I was in the bed too much. I don't like to sleep when I have some big problem like a big exam or something like that, then I just woke up i in the middle of the night all in sweat. So I prefer not to sleep at all.

Hi there, I think everyone will give a positive answer. I do like sleeping, of course. People don’t sleep might be due to being busy, sickness, pain, worry, and so on. Other than normal sleep at night I do like take siesta in the afternoon. I find sleeping could make me refreshed and energetic especially the afternoon nap. I normally tend to sleep late as I enjoy surfing net and watching tv in the quiet night. I am reluctant to wake up early in the following morning.

I like to sleep, If I had an opportunity not to work and provided with a TV, fridge with all kind of fruits, snacks and food then I'll just watch TV have some food mean while and go to bed. But that is not possible because I am human and have to work hard to earn. So can't help it LOL

I do not think sleeping more in the weekend is bad. We need relaxation and rest at least once in a week and that refreshes us.
