What do all these have in common? They are partially the fault of the "victim"; They are things that can kill you; and They are things that aren't caused by a lack of government funding. It is true that there are things that bring some of these on that is beyond our control. It is equally true that there are things we can do to reduce our own personal risk of getting them. It is also up to us to decide if we are going to participate in the behavior that increases our risk. In the end though, we are responsible for our own choices. Freedom to choose does not mean freedom from the consequences of our choices... and no amount of government intervention or funding will ever change that... no matter how much we whine and moan that it should.

As far as I can see, the second anyone pulls the door open at a fast food restaurant, we are saying, "we don't care!"

As for an unwanted pregnancy, that is why abortions need to remain safe and legal. What they also have in common? People need to be educated about them.Itis easier to protect yourself when you know how.

I wonder what other excuse you'd come up with to kill a baby.

If I don't want a baby and I am using birth control and I still get pregnant, you bet I would have an abortion. Not everyone is supposed to have babies. If I were raped and I found out I was pregnant, I would have an abortion.
