Are they serious? They are considering delaying tax time for 30 days. Most people look forward to this all year long and some even have their refunds spent before they get them. I don't think this would be a wise decision for Congress to make right before our next presidential election.

I know... I heard aBout this, and was thinking that someone is not thinking for sure. This is unreal if you ask me. I hope that with it being Election yr. they go against thinking like this, and continue on as they have every other yr, but in all reality, nothing really will surprise me. Sometimes I just feel like saying, "Wake Me When It's Over."

May I ask where you heard this? I haven't heard anything about it. I'm wondering if they mean extending the deadline for filing past April 15. It would really complicate things to change the fiscal year.
