Can she get her son back ?

One of my friend got divorced from my husband a year ago. He was cheating behind her back for many many times. Then she got divorced. She have 10 month old baby. I don't know much about law, but people told me that an underage child is going to be he mother. But really suprised me that the court decided to give her son custody to his father, I mean how that can happened. Of course that could happen if my friend abandon her son, but she's not. She was a stay home mom and take good care his son. I just assumed that her ex husband bribe the court, bcoz it's almost impossible. I don't know what should I do to help her, she was so devastated.

I do not think that your friend can get her child back. It is nearly always the children that suffer when there is a divorce. People should try not to get a divorce if at all possible.

is she was a stay stay at home mom,that would mean she had no job to support her child.. you also have to think of that factor as well. it is a horrible thing that she had her son taken away but there had to be a reason behind it...

AS far as I know, when the trial was held she already have a job. So I guess the court don't have any reason why they decided to give the custody to a working father than a working mother. Because a month after the court decision, she's not allowed to see her son by her husband and his family. She always involve in an big fight with his family every time she wants to see her soon.

She can get her son back if she appeals for that case to be heard again.
Am pretty sure that the man bribed the court and thats why he went away with.
Or maybe the court thought that the mother will not be abble to cater for the boys need since she is a stay at home mother and thats why they gave custody to the father. But that was silly because a child that young belongs to the mother and the father would have been forced to pay and cater for all the expenses and retainer fees for the boy to the mother.

That's exactly what I thought. But when the trial was held she already have a job. And no one take care her son in that house, just a maid. With a working father. But if she has the custody, her son will stay with his grandma.
