I sure do remember doing this lol. We used all kinds of wacky things back then to curl our hair, or to straighten it out. I also remember using the small metal tomato paste cans as rollers. Then when I had really long hair (past my butt) I used to iron it straight. (I probably have a permanent burn mark somewhere up there from getting too close with the iron, hahaha) I haven't thought about that stuff in years!

I have heard of people using the rolls of toilet paper and soup cans lol. I didn't use that because my hair is too fine and the curl never holds. I had to use curling irons or hot rollers and even that was a gamble!

I really remember this. My classmates in high school used to do these things during our break time. Recess time is an example. Our teacher would usually laugh at their vanity before.

Hello dear carol bee. I remember this very well. It is true that many girls who loved fashion in the eighties and early nineties loved to have their hair wavy very much by using some plastic roll to roll their hair to make the hair more beautiful. It was a fashion then, friend.
