Why my Paypal account is not activated

I joined mylot about a week ago and found it very interesting. However to create my paypal account I signed up properly and it was informed that I would get an e-mail for verification of my e-mail address. Till date I got no mail from Paypal and my Paypal account stands inactive.This issue is disheartening me to act in mylot because apart from fun I 've joined for some income also.Can anyone help me?
