I have not had time to go to the site yet but I like the sounds of being "green" while using the internet. LOL Now I have a reason to be on here "all the time" lol

Nice to hear the good word. I bet a lot of people think about when they are shopping online that they are saving time and gas money, but these points go a lot further. Thanks for the info!

Oh my gosh! I have have never stopped to think about how being on the internet could decrease the carbon emissions! I had to stop and think, I actually did do 90 % of my Christmas shopping online, which means I didn't use fuel and drive anywhere! But, as many of the responses mentioned, what about the energy required to run all the computers and the data centers. It is mind boggling.

Wow thats cool, great to know that something is being done right. Great article and very interesting. Surprised at people who don't give a toss about where the world is heading and praise those who do something about it now. Do wonder though what will happen when all the computers die and have to become landfill. HAVE A BLESSED CHRISTMAS

Well thats a common one, not surprised. Sarcastically, some people are even more environmentally friendly by doing nothing but sitting... using way less oxygen and expelling less carbon dioxide due to how sedentary they are.

Yep... our butts are parked in our chairs in front of our computers, and we aren't going anywhere... it might be good for the atmosphere, but we're all getting out of shape! Is that a good trade-off?
