It's 2:18am where I am now. I should be sleeping. The reason why I am not sleeping yet is because I am waiting for my hair to dry! You might ask, why not use a hair dryer? Well, hair dryer spoils the hair.=P Different people have different hair lengths, hair textures, hair types and etc etc.. So I am just wondering what's your hair like and how long does it take for your hair to dry naturally? If you have not been timing it, please try to do so k?=D I have long thick hair. It takes about 4 hours for my hair to dry completely. =X

my hair takes FOREVER to dry naturally. anywhere from an hour to all night if i go to bed. it's insane. plus if it dries naturally it's really thick, wavy and frizzy. so i almost always blow dry it so that it's less frizzy and it's also straighter and all - which makes it easier for when i do straighten it then.

When I feel really tired, I'll use the hairdryer too. But it's not very good to use it often.

I have waist length hair and it's pretty thick and wavy so my hair takes forever to dry naturally. Sometimes, I get lucky and it dries pretty quickly, but that usually happens when I brush it or whatever, and brushing your hair while wet is also a bad idea, so I just let me hair go whenever I can. Sometimes I wake up in the morning with my hair still wet because it hasn't completely dried and I went to bed with wet hair. It sucks, but sometimes you have to make exceptions.

Waist length? Wow.. that's very long. Mine only reaches my mid-back and I already find it too long. I have gone to bed with wet hair before too. I try to avoid doing that. I'll usually end up having a bad hair day the next day if I were to do that.

I always let my hair dry naturally unless I am in a big hurry or I go to the hairdresser. Even if I want to make it a bit more elaborate I usually still let it dry naturally. I just have to put a bit of mousse or gel then use the towel again to "mess" it up and it dries mostly the way I want it to look :) MY hair doesn't take long to dry, It is short and curly and I don't usually have to wait much for it to dry. Now if you want the exact time, I can not tell you because I never really timed it. All I know is that it does't take long. ANd if it's summer then it's even faster, I can take my shower and be outside in half an hours and it would be only a bit damp by the time I leave. By the time I"m at the bus stop it's already completely dry :) SOrry it takes you so long, but you are right that the hair drier tend to damage the hair and it is beneficial to let it dry naturally at least whenever possible.

usually at night time and i don't get out of our house, it will take me like 5-6 hours to let my hair dry naturally...i have a long thick hair too...on day time, if i go out of the sun, my hair will dry quicker and it only takes 2-3 hours to dry...

Hi! I have long thick hair it takes about 3-4 hours to dry on a bright sunny day.The place where I live is a hill station so very rarely can I dry it without using the hair dryer. Most often I land up using the dryer though I know fully well that its not good for my hair.If I dont dry it i amy land up with health problems.

Oh. I heard people in winter countries do not wash their hair everyday. Is it true? I live in a hot and humid country and I have no choice but to wash it everyday.

Oh I see. I guess you can compensate for that by doing regular hair masks for your hair. =)

My hair hangs down to my waist and takes about 4 hours to dry completely. I try not to use a hair dryer as the heat does damage to my hair.

Really? Hair dryer spoils the hair meh? And 4 hours? You kidding me is it? You shui tong or gorilla? You must use your towel and towel dry your hair. Don't do it perfunctorily. Do it properly. 20 min is an overkill already. If your hair really takes 4 hours to dry (:PPP), bathe earlier next time. *roll eyes*

Aye.. Heat kills the hair mah. Since you have lived 3 years longer, I thought you should know =P If you read all the responses, there are some people (girls) who take up to 8 hours to dry their hair lor. Some claim to take FOREVER to dry their hair. Basing on that, I think 4 hours is pretty short. =P I bath and wash hair after I reach home which is usually around 10pm.

Hi,definitely i agree with u,regarding ur views related to hair dryers. They tkae toll on the hair and make them a mess...Same here, generally it takes 5-6 hrs for my hair to go dry.E1 i have long hair which r rough n thick...so they do consume most of the time.Really u need special caring for the hair...as they play an important role in glorifying the beauty of the girl....u need to take good care..so i dnt mind spending that time for them....anything for my hair...

Mine is longer than my shoulders. It takes quite a while for it to dry. For me, if I put it in a ponytail it takes all day, so I would say a minimum of 8 hrs. usually.

I do not really wait for my hair to dry should I wash before I sleep. I try not to wash my hair before bed time as I do not use the dryer too for same reason you stated. I wash it in the morning. I guess it takes about an hour.

Well i have long thick hair.So when i washed my hair and it takes for me depends on the weather sometimes 4-5 hours and sometimes the whole day. When i washed it and i go to bed with wet hair my hair isn't dry the next morning also it feels a little bit fat when it's not dry the next morning. So i do prefer taking the hairdryer and then to compensate my hair i use hairmasks.

Hi,there! I don't like using hair dryer to dry my hair cause just as what you mentioned in the discussion,it would spoil the hair.So usually after I wash my hair,I just leave it alone and let it dry itself. My hair is somehow long and thick so it costs sometime. I usually wash my hair in the evening and then it takes about 3 hours to get dry naturally. So if my hair is not dry enough,I'll also wait till it's dry. Thanks for the discussion and have a nice day^_^
